The Leander Library is hosting a free LEGO playtime for kids in Kindergarten and up from 3:30-4:15 today.
If you’re looking for a great Christmas light display, be sure to stop by Anna Court in Cedar Park. Friday night will have a special visit from Santa!
Come back to the Leander Library on Saturday for a ton of events. The library will be hosting a craft for adults, as well as a Winter Wonderland and reading kick off, which includes treats, crafts, a book sale, a visit from Santa and a “Tour of the Universe” by the Texas Museum of Science and Technology at 10:15. All ages are welcome.
Also on Saturday, the Michael’s Craft Store near Lakeline Mall will be hosting a $2 crafting class for kids. Kids will use Perler beads to make Santa belt coasters from 10:00 am – noon.
Teenagers looking for something to do will enjoy stopping by the Cedar Park Library from 2:00-4:00 for their teen free-play gaming. Kids 10-17 will have access to Wii U, XBox Kinect, board games and card games.
Sunday is traditionally a pretty quiet day for events. This week, kids of all ages and abilities are invited to come play chess from 1:30-2:00.

Kids from Kinder through 5th grade will not want to miss the Leander Library’s STEAM Club meeting this Tuesday, December 1st from 3:30-4:15.
Kids in Kindergarten and older are invited this Friday to play Chess at the Leander Library at 3:30 pm. Chess is played here every other Friday. On alternating weeks, kids can play with LEGOs.
Toddlers and preschoolers are sure to enjoy Leander Library’s Little STEAMers on Friday, December 4th at 11:00 am.
Kids of all ages are invited out this Friday night, December 4th at 7:00 pm to Barnes & Noble at Lakeline Mall as they celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Polar Express with storytime and a pajama party. Guests are invited to attend in their favorite winter or Christmas-themed pajamas and bring a jingle bell (if you have one) to add to the magic of the story.
